Since before OBAMA became President there has been underway a secret plan to return the United States to English Control. The Minnesota Free Market Institute hosted an event at Bethel University in St. Paul on Wednesday evening. Keynote speaker Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, gave a scathing and lengthy presentation, complete with detailed charts, graphs, facts, and figures which culminated in the utter decimation of both the pop culture concept of global warming and the credible threat of any significant anthropomorphic climate change.
A detailed summary of Monckton’s presentation will be available here once compiled. However, a segment of his remarks justify immediate publication. If credible, the concern Monckton speaks to may well prove the single most important issue facing the American nation, bigger than health care, bigger than cap and trade, and worth every citizen’s focused attention.

Here were Monckton’s closing remarks, as dictated from my audio recording:
At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed. Your president will sign it. Most of the third world countries will sign it, because they think they’re going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regime from the European Union will rubber stamp it. Virtually nobody won’t sign it.
I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity.

The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfication of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t.

How many of you think that the word “election” or “democracy” or “vote” or “ballot” occurs anywhere in the 200 pages of that treaty? Quite right, it doesn’t appear once. And the trouble is this; if that treaty is signed, if your Constitution says that it takes precedence over your Constitution (sic), and you can’t resign from that treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties – And because you’ll be the biggest paying country,

they’re not going to let you out of it.
So, thank you, America. You were the beacon of freedom to the world. It is a privilege merely to stand on this soil of freedom while it is still free. But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your humanity away forever. And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is. I’ve read the treaty. I’ve seen this stuff about [world] government and climate debt and enforcement.

They are going to do this to you whether you like it or not.
But I think it is here, here in your great nation, which I so love and I so admire – it is here that perhaps, at this eleventh hour, at the fifty-ninth minute and fifty-ninth second, you will rise up and you will stop your president from signing that dreadful treaty, that purposeless treaty.

For there is no problem with climate and, even if there were, an economic treaty does nothing to [help] it.
So I end by saying to you the words that Winston Churchill addressed to your president in the darkest hour before the dawn of freedom in the Second World War. He quoted from your great poet Longfellow:

Lord Monckton received a standing ovation and took a series of questions from members of the audience. Among those questions were these relevent to the forthcoming Copenhagen treaty:

Question: The current administration and the Democratic majority in Congress has shown little regard for the will of the people. They’re trying to pass a serious government agenda, and serious taxation and burdens on future generations. And there seems to be little to stop them. How do you propose we stop Obama from doing this, because I see no way to stop him from signing anything in Copenhagen. I believe that’s his agenda and he’ll do it.
Response: I don’t minimize the difficulty. But on this subject – I don’t really do politics, because it’s not right. In the end, your politics is for you. The correct procedure is for you to get onto your representatives, both in the US Senate where the bill has yet to go through (you can try and stop that) and in [the House], and get them to demand their right of audience (which they all have) with the president and tell him about this treaty.

There are many very powerful people in this room, wealthy people, influential people. Get onto the media, tell them about this treaty. If they go to www.wattsupwiththat.com, they will find (if they look carefully enough) a copy of that treaty, because I arranged for it to be posted there not so long ago. Let them read it, and let the press tell the people that their democracy is about to be taken away for no good purpose, at least [with] no scientific basis [in reference to climate change]. Tell the press to say this. Tell the press to say that, even if there is a problem [with climate change],

Question: Is it really irrevocable if that treaty is signed? Suppose it’s signed by someone who does not have the authority, as I – I have some, a high degree of skepticism that we do have a valid president there because I know at least one judge who shares your opinion, sir, yes.
I don’t believe it until I see it. … Would [Obama's potential illegitimacy as president] give us a reasonable cause to nullify whatever treaty that he does sign as president?
Response: I would be very careful not to rely on things like that. Although there is a certain amount of doubt whether or not he was born in Hawaii, my fear is it would be very difficult to prove he wasn’t born in Hawaii and therefore we might not be able to get anywhere with that. Besides, once he’s signed that treaty, whether or not he signed it validly, once he’s signed it and ratified it – your Senate ratifies it – you’re bound by it. But I will say one thing; they know, in the White House, that they won’t be able to get the 67 votes in the Senate, the two-thirds majority that your Constitution has stipulated must be achieved in order to ratify a treaty of this kind. However, what they’ve worked out is this – and they actually let it slip during the election campaign, which is how I know about it.

They plan to enact that Copenhagen treaty into legislation by a simple majority of both houses. That they can do. But the virtue of that – and here you have a point – is that is, thank God, reversible. So I want you to pray tonight, and pray hard for your Senate that they utterly refuse to ratify the [new] Treaty of Copenhagen, because if they refuse to ratify it and [Obama] has to push it through as domestic legislation, you can repeal it.

Regardless of whether global warming is taking place or caused to any degree by human activity, we do not want a global government empowered to tax Americans without elected representation or anything analogous to constitutional protections. The Founding Fathers would roll over in their graves if they knew their progeny allowed a foreign power such authority, effectively undoing their every effort in an act of Anti-American Revolution. If that is our imminent course, we need to put all else on hold and focus on stopping it.

Skimming through the treaty, I came across verification of Monckton’s assessment of the new entity’s purpose:
38. The scheme for the new institutional arrangement under the Convention will be based on three basic pillars: government; facilitative mechanism; and financial mechanism, and the basic organization of which will include the following:

(a) The government will be ruled by the COP with the support of a new subsidiary body on adaptation, and of an Executive Board responsible for the management of the new funds and the related facilitative processes and bodies. The current Convention secretariat will operate as such, as appropriate.
To Redistribute Wealth (heading added)

b) The Convention’s financial mechanism will include a multilateral climate change fund including five windows: (a) an Adaptation window, (b) a Compensation window, to address loss and damage from climate change impacts [read: the "climate debt" Monckton refers to], including insurance, rehabilitation and compensatory components, © a Technology window; (d) a Mitigation window; and (e) a REDD window, to support a multi-phases process for positive forest incentives relating to REDD actions.
With Enforcement Authority (heading added)

© The Convention’s facilitative mechanism will include: (a) work programmes for adaptation and mitigation; (b) a long-term REDD process; © a short-term technology action plan; (d) an expert group on adaptation established by the subsidiary body on adaptation, and expert groups on mitigation, technologies and on monitoring, reporting and verification; and (e) an international registry for the monitoring, reporting and verification of compliance of emission reduction commitments, and the transfer of technical and financial resources from developed countries to developing countries. The secretariat will provide technical and administrative support, including a new centre for information exchange [read; enforcement].

Orly Taitz, the southern California dentist/lawyer who has filed numerous suits challenging President Obama's citizenship, yesterday was fined $20,000 by a federal judge in Georgia for using the courts "as a platform for a political agenda disconnected from any legitimate legal cause of action."

Judge Clay Land earlier had dismissed Taitz's suit on a behalf of a military doctor who sought to dodge deployment by asserting that Obama is not a citizen, hence cannot lawfully dispatch troops. Land said Taitz's suit was frivolous and that her conduct connected to it -- which included accusations of corruption and treason against Land -- was an abuse of her privilege to practice law.

The penalty was double what Land had been contemplating and merited a footnote indicating that it was the first time he could recall fining a lawyer without being asked to do so by a complaining party.

In an added rebuke, Land ordered a prosecutor to look into whether Taitz's fine could be directed to the National Infantry Foundation at Ft. Benning, Georgia, "which has as part of its mission the recognition of our brave soldiers who do their duty regardless of the personal sacrifice required and their own personal political beliefs."

Land also directed that a copy of his ruling be forwarded to the State Bar of California, where Taitz is the subject of at least one professional misconduct complaint.

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.

"It’s clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race," Ryan, 44, said in a statement. "What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign – the kind of campaign that has turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play."

Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one ‘avant-garde’ club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was "truly outrageous" that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.

The Republican choice will become an instant underdog in the campaign for the seat of retiring Republican Senator Peter Fitzgerald, since Obama held a wide lead even before the scandal broke.

"I feel for him actually," Obama told a Chicago TV station. "What he’s gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn’t wish on anybody."

The Republican state committee must now choose a replacement for Ryan, who had won in the primaries against seven contenders. Its task is complicated by the fact that Obama holds a comfortable lead in the polls and is widely regarded as a rising Democratic star.

The chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Judy Topinka, said at a news conference, after Ryan withdrew, that Republicans would probably take several weeks to settle on a new candidate.

As recently as Thursday, spokesmen for the Ryan campaign still insisted that Ryan would remain in the race. Ryan had defended himself saying, "There’s no breaking of any laws. There’s no breaking of any marriage laws. There’s no breaking of the Ten Commandments anywhere."

Reining in the financial industry's power and greed will be a long, hard-fought war. But it is one that must be fought

The elites hate to acknowledge it, but when large numbers of ordinary people are moved to action, it changes the narrow political world where the elites call the shots. Inside accounts reveal the extent to which Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon's conduct of the Vietnam war was constrained by the huge anti-war movement. It was the civil rights movement, not compelling arguments, that convinced members of the US Congress to end legal racial discrimination. More recently, the town hall meetings dominated by people opposed to healthcare reform have been a serious roadblock for those pushing reform.

Those disgusted by the bank bailouts, and the bankers who brought us this recession, will have a chance to make their views known when the American Bankers Association has its annual meeting in Chicago this month. A large coalition of labour, community and consumer organisations are organising a protest at this "Showdown in Chicago".

A big turnout at this event can make a real difference. Just to review the scorecard, most of the country is still suffering the fallout from the bankers' irrational exuberance of the housing bubble era. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and other forecasters expect the suffering to endure for years to come.

The US unemployment rate is about to cross 10%, with an additional 9 million workers only able to find part-time work. CBO projects that unemployment will not return to normal levels until 2014. Almost 200,000 people are losing their homes every month through foreclosure. Tens of millions of people who had expected a comfortable retirement just saw most of their wealth disappear with the collapse of the housing bubble. State and local governments are being forced to lay off school teachers and fire fighters under the pressure of enormous budget deficits.

But not everyone is suffering. Thanks to the bailout programmes put in place last fall, most of the country's major banks are back on their feet. In fact, in the most recent quarter, bank profits hit a new record high as a share of all corporate profits.

And the banks are sharing their wealth. Many of their top executives and high performers will be getting bonuses this year worth millions of dollars. In some cases the bonuses will be in the tens of millions.

In the meantime, in elite Washington circles people are busy making plans for a national sales tax so that the government can limit the fiscal damage caused by the bankers' recession. A sales tax is of course very regressive, since low- and moderate-income people typically spend the vast majority of their income, while our banker friends will more likely to be able to save some of their income or spend it in other countries where they will not be paying this new sales tax.

To summarise: the bankers wrecked the economy with their greed, ran off with taxpayer dollars in a massive bailout and now plan to raise taxes for the rest of us. If that picture doesn't sound quite right, then go to Chicago.

This is a case where the divisions are not left-right, but of the elite against everyone else. When Congress was debating the Tarp bank bailout last fall, members of Congress were hearing calls from people across the political spectrum who were outraged that their tax dollars were going to the banks that had wrecked the economy. A higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats ended up voting against this bankers' piñata.

The policies that will rein in the banks: reform of the Federal Reserve Board to make it democratically accountable, a tax on financial speculation to pay for the bankers' mess and restrictions on the bank abuses of consumers that caused the carnage have support from people on both the left and right.

A bill that would require the Fed to disclose what it did with more than $2tn in loans to banks and other financial institutions was originally co-sponsored by Ron Paul and Alan Grayson, one of the most conservative and one of the most progressive members of Congress. Due to public pressure, it now has more than 270 co-sponsors.

This is exactly the sort of alliance that gets the elite worried. Reining in the power of the financial industry will be a long, hard-fought war, but it is one that must be fought. President and Nobel peace prize winner Barack Obama may not have been able to bring the Olympics to Chicago, but everyone who wants to retake our country from the banks can bring their backside there on 25 October.

The credit crunch is getting worse on Main Street, despite a Wall Street bailout that is now in the trillions of dollars. The Federal Reserve's charts show that “base money” is rapidly expanding – meaning coins, paper money, and commercial banks' reserves with the central bank. But the money isn't making it to where it needs to go to stimulate economic growth: into the bank accounts of American businesses and consumers. The Fed has been pumping out money to the banks, and their reserves have been growing at unprecedented rates; but the money supply in the real economy has been declining.

According to Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, writing last month in the UK Telegraph, U.S. bank credit and M3 (the broadest measure of the money supply) contracted over the summer at rates comparable to the onset of the Great Depression. In the summer quarter, U.S. bank loans fell at an annual pace of almost 14 percent. “There has been nothing like this in the USA since the 1930s,” said Professor Tim Congdon of International Monetary Research. “The rapid destruction of money balances is madness.”

Chartered banks are allowed to create credit on their books equal to many times their deposit base, but lately they haven't been doing it. In more normal times, one dollar in base money has been fanned by the banks into $8.50 in loans. Today, one dollar in base money is producing only one dollar in loans. Although the Fed has been frantically pushing cash into the banks, it can't make them lendto consumers.
This is not because the banks are trying to be difficult. If they had prudent loans on which to turn a profit and the capital base to do it, they no doubt would. But their books have been choked with toxic assets, destroying their capital positions; and the “shadow lenders” who once took subprime loans off their books have gotten wise to the scam and gone away. Bankers who know the endangered state of their own books don't trust each other, so money is tight all around. And the Fed has already dropped interest rates as low as they can go, so it has no more leverage with which to entice borrowers.

Local Government to the Rescue?
The Fed may have played all its cards, but state and local governments still hold a few aces. Some local politicians are looking into the feasibility of opening their own publicly-owned banks, providing them with their own credit machines. A new public bank would have a clean set of books, untainted by the Wall Street addiction to gambling in complex derivatives; and its profits would go back to the local government and community, rather than being siphoned off in exorbitant salaries, bonuses and dividends. A publicly-owned bank could funnel credit where it is needed most, directly into the local economy.
One legislator who is considering a publicly-owned bank is Bruno Barreiro, County Commissioner for Miami-Dade County in Florida. In a September 23 article titled “Capital Sources: Recession Steers Banks Away from Business as Usual”, The Daily Business Review reported that Miami-Dade is planning to conduct a feasibility study proposing alternatives for becoming its own depository. Said the journal:

“Barreiro notes that throughout the year, a portion of the county's $7.5 billion operating budget is deposited with outside financial institutions in return for an interest rate. However, he feels that given the instability of many banks, the county might be better off going into such a business on its own.”
Brian Bandell, writing in The South Florida Business Journal on September 11, reported that Barreiro's concern is that bank accounts are insured by the FDIC for only up to $250,000. Some businesses have lost millions of dollars in uninsured deposits when banks failed. The county often has over $50 million in a single account. If the county were to open its own depository institution, it could safeguard against these losses.

However, said Bandell, Barreiro is not proposing to allow the institution to make loans. Rather, the state's money would be invested conservatively in Treasury bonds. The problem with that approach, said Miami banking analyst Kenneth Thomas, is that it would be a challenge to get good interest rates for the county's deposits without making loans. “There's a reason most other municipalities aren't doing it,” he said.

In stopping short of making loans, the county could be missing a major business opportunity. The average interest rate on U.S. government bonds is currently 3.35%. If the funds in Miami-Dade's operating budget were deposited in the county's own bank, the money could serve as the reserves to support at least nine times that sum in loans. Assuming an average interest rate of 5% on these loans, the county could increase its revenues by over 1,000% (45% vs. 3.35%). [A fuller explanation and references are here.]

Economist Farid Khavari is a Democratic candidate for governor of Florida in 2010. He proposes a Bank of the State of Florida (BSF) that would take full advantage of the potential of a bank charter. It would not only act as a depository for the state's funds but would actually make loans to Floridians, at much lower interest rates than they are getting now. Among other benefits, the BSF could open up frozen credit markets, save homeowners many thousands of dollars in payments, produce major revenues for the state, and allow the state's own debts to be refinanced at much lower rates. All those benefits are possible, says Khavari, because of the “fractional reserve” banking system used by all banks when they make loans. As he explained in a July 29 article in Reuters:

“Using the fractional reserve regulations that govern all banks, we can earn billions per year for Florida's treasury, while saving thousands of dollars per year for Florida homeowners. . . . For $100 in deposits, a bank can create $900 in new money by making loans. So, the BSF can pay 6% for CDs, and make mortgage loans at 2%. For $6 per year in interest paid out, the BSF can earn $18 by lending $900 at 2% for mortgages.“The BSF can be started at no cost to taxpayers, and will be a permanent engine driving Florida's economy. We can refinance state and local projects at 3%, saving taxpayers billions and balancing state and local budgets without higher taxes.”The state would earn $15,000 per $100,000 of mortgage, at a cost of about $1,700; while the homeowner would save $88,000 in interest and pay for the home 15 years sooner. “Our bank will save people about seven years of their pay over the course of 30 years, just on interest costs,” Khavari said. “We should work to support ourselves and our families, not the banks. . . . What we have now . . . makes everyone work for a few greedy fat cats.” Earlier ModelsThis sort of healthy public competition for the private banking monopoly has earlier precedents, going back to the colony of Pennsylvania in Benjamin Franklin's day. Before Pennsylvania founded its own bank, the province was having difficulty attracting settlers, because there was a shortage of money with which to conduct trade. The settlers could get credit only by borrowing from the British bankers at a hefty 8% interest, and even those loans were hard to come by. The provincial government then got the bright idea of printing its own paper money and lending it to the farmers at 5% interest. When credit became cheaper and more freely available, the local economy flourished.

The only state that owns its own bank today is North Dakota. North Dakota is also one of only two states (along with Montana) that are on track to meet their budgets by 2010; it has the lowest unemployment rate in the country; and it has the largest budget surplus it has ever had, tallying in at $1.3 billion. Why this cold and isolated farming state should be doing so well when other states are teetering on bankruptcy has been the subject of several TV commentaries, including a spoof by Conan O'Brien on NBC's Tonight Show, which attributed it to theft by local farmers from tourists. But North Dakota's real secret seems to be that it has escaped the Wall Street credit debacle. The state has generated its own credit through its own publicly-owned bank for nearly a century.

The Bank of North Dakota (BND) was founded in 1919, when a political party called the Non Partisan League succeeded in uniting farmers suffering from an earlier credit crisis. The BND's website states that the bank was originally formed to create additional competition in the credit industry, while providing a local source of capital for state investment and development. The BND avoids opposition from other banks by partnering with them in loan projects. According to the bank's website:“The primary deposit base of the BND is the State of North Dakota. All state funds and funds of state institutions are deposited with the bank as required by law. . . . Use of the banks' earnings are at the discretion of the state legislature. As an agent of the state it can make subsidized loans to spur development . . . . [It] underwrites municipal bonds for all of the political units in the state, and has been one of the leading banks in the nation in the number of student loans issued. The bank also serves as the state's ‘Mini Fed' . . . .

As a result of the banks' services, it enjoys widespread support among the public and the independent banking community.”Bringing the Model CurrentThe private banking system is in systemic failure, and the public is waking up to the fact. We have been fleeced by Wall Street, the banks are not providing loans, and our savings are no longer secure. The publicly-owned Bank of North Dakota has provided an alternative model that has worked remarkably well for nearly a century. The BND has been around for so long, however, that skeptics can write off the state's remarkable success to other factors. A modern-day public bank that quickly turned its flagging local economy around could set a precedent that was irrefutable. If Florida were to establish a successful public banking model, it could blaze a trail out of the economic wilderness for local governments everywhere.First posted on Yes! The Swine Flu Vaccine is almost ready and here for Canada and there is much talk about mandatory vaccinations. Many are seeing a link between this and Canada's Bill C-6, a Bill that has been fast-tracked through the Canadian Parliament and is now being rushed through the Senate, where it is already at Second Reading. The powers-that-be have tried to push key content in this Bill through Parliament before, under different names (C41, C-51/52); however, public awareness and protest as well as an election have intervened. Can you believe what is in this toxic cocktail? Why would Health Canada or any governing body force us to take a vaccine that has had almost no testing for short or long term effects, and is loaded with some of the most dangerous ingredients such as formaldehyde, mercury, aluminum, as well as adjuvants as squalene which breaks down the human immune system and destroys spermatogenesis, the production of sperm ! Also re the vaccine: The ingredients WILL be made available and most already are, but the WHO is not dictating which flu vaccine we get from which company. Ours in Canada is GSK (Glaxo), but those of other nations are being made by several licensees as well as other companies.

The ingredients vary.... the US is supposedly NOT receiving an adjuvanted vaccine, but ours IS adjuvanted with Squalene. This is a substance naturally produced in the body, but when injected into the blood stream it causes antibodies to be produced against our natural squalene, causing chaos within the system. This is the same trick they used to lower the birth rate in the 90's in Mexico, Nicaragua, Tanzania, and the Philippines with bogus tetanus shots containing HCG hormone, which is used by the body to prepare the uterus for implantation of a fertilized egg. When injected, the body forms antibodies to the hormone, causing spontaneous abortion. Women of childbearing age were targeted for 3 injections within 3 months, unheard of since tetanus shots are supposed to be good for 10 years... and later women were found to be sterile because their systems were loaded with HCG antibodies... the authorities denied this, but vials were tested and found to be contaminated with HCG hormone.

The language of clauses within C-6 does not automatically carry over to other legislation though it could. When legislation is enacted in law, all the clauses within it are assumed to have been approved by Parliament, and do not need to be debated further unless an amendment should be proposed. Therefore a Minister may take a clause from one piece of legislation, move it over into another piece of legislation, publish a notice of the move twice in the Parliamentary Gazette, and it BECOMES LAW WITHOUT PARLIAMENTARY VOTE OR OVERSIGHT. That means that the warrantless search and siezure provisions of C-6 are a lethal threat to ALL our liberties.

Under this law also, inspectors will be allowed to enter your home (without telling you why or getting your permission) and seize anything without a warrant, without court supervision, take control of businesses without court supervision, in some cases to seize private property without a court order, and/or impose penalties without a court order. Bill C-6 removes our right to Due Process... the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty, the right to face our accuser, the right to see evidence, the right to have court supervision over warrants and searches and siezures and destruction of property and fines and imprisonment.

These are our universal rights declared in Magna Carta of 1215 and which are enshrined in the Canadian Bill of Rights and Freedoms. If we can retain due process we can at least use normal legal measures to protect ourselves from vaccines...without that, there is no stopping the health police. Provisions within C-6 can be used as the enforcement tools of Codex regulations, which are extensive and will destroy the natural health industry as we know it.

The governent appears to have been very quietly fast-tracking this Bill. There has never been a Bill like this in Canadian history that removes so many rights. Shawn Buckley, Canadian Constitutional lawyer and President of the Natural Health Product and Protection Association has said that Bill C-6 is the most dangerous piece of legislation he has ever seen.

We could be without any legal rights to say no to vaccines and so much more. Most people are unaware that currently we do have the right to refuse vaccinations and will still, using a medical allergy exemption. Mrs. Brade is concerned about bill C-6's connections to the Codex Alimentarius, a for-profit World Trade Organization agreement. Codex (among other things) will put Natural health products under risk assessment, keeping doses 100x weaker than needed to be effective, thereby eliminating adequate dose nutritional supplements.

Canada is now on a move to cut taxes and bring in as many foreign companies as possible. They already have a straight run with their railroad right through the U.S.

GM had been in Canada for 100 years and GM of Canada sold 90% of the cars made in Canada into the U.S. Canada teamed up with Mexico sometime ago with the Canadian Free Trade Agreement/NAFTA . The Japanese have been in Mexico working with the government since 1985. They manufacture cars in Mexico which do not have to meet the fleet requirement of environmental law in the U.S. because of an exemption. Under the terms of this agreement will they be able to follow their rules instead of obeying U.S. law. Nissan retitled cars which had been driven and rolled back the odometer and put them into commerce calling them new. No American manufacturer has ever done this because the auto industry was vast and important to the economy of the U.S. The auto market will be extended by removing The U.S. borders which is what the organization is doing creating such a large market.

Under this organization there is an East-West highway, a North-South highway 12 football fields wide with a train corridor. There is a western corridor on the west coast and a green corridor on the east coast. The plans for the west also include re-wilding the west with animals.

The American people are being short changed on the highway and how it will destroy the very fabric of this country. . Obama is going along with it. The organization also has a legislature and a court which supercedes the Supreme Court because it is an international agreement which is tied into the WTO (World Trade Agreement). Any domestic law that we have under the WTO which blocks a law or regulation of the WTO must be overturned and the President is obligated under the terms of the WTO to go to court, only in DC to overturn it. They did have a commission to oversee whether or not this is being done. They are very quiet about it now. I do not know if they abolished it, or found out it was better to be quiet.

The supposed “first protectors” of the American people, their “Free Press”, was designed and protected by their Founding Fathers for the express purpose of protecting their Nation against such monsters, .....

SAGUENAY, Que. -... Cathie Gauthier faces three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of 12-year-old Joelle, seven-year-old Marc-Ange and four-year-old Louis-Philippe.....

The jury at the trial of a Quebec mother charged with the murder of her three children was told Monday they were killed out "of love" in a suicide pact with her husband.

...Crown prosecutor Sonia Rouleau told the jury of seven men and five women that she intends to prove Gauthier and Laliberte planned their deaths and that of their children.
She tabled a series of letters found at the family home. Dated Dec. 31, 2008, and signed by both parents, the documents tell a tale of despair.
The letters look back on their lives, their problems with money, and with their respective families. They noted Gauthier was adopted and separated from her brother after her depressive mother was sent to a mental institution.
"We are not able to go on anymore, to fight. We have reached the bottom of the abyss and our courage pit is really empty," said one letter.

//The documents said both parents were out of work, in debt and threatened with eviction by their landlord."All we have are worries," one letter said. "We can't live in a world so cruel anymore." //
"We have decided in serenity to leave this world and take with us our three children that are our greatest wealth. It is not a cruel gesture, but one of love. Leaving them behind would have been cruel," the letter said. It added the children did not suffer, nor were they conscious of "their departure for a better world."

The Crown said the siblings were found dead in their parents' bed on New Year's Eve, lying next to each other as if for a funeral, with their arms across their bodies. Traces of prescription drugs were found in their blood.
The father was found dead in the same bedroom with self-inflicted wounds. Gauthier, the sole survivor, called 911 for help and was discovered seriously injured.

//When police arrived on the scene, Gauthier was lying on the kitchen floor with a slit wrist, said Rouleau. She was taken to hospital, where she was treated for a self-inflicted knife wound. She remained in hospital for more than a week and missed her children's funeral.

The prosecutor described how the children were found on their parents' bed, with their hands crossed on their chests.The body of Gauthier's husband, Marc Laliberté, was lying on the floor with one wrist slashed, said Rouleau.//
Gauthier, 35, sobbed constantly while the letters were read in court in Chicoutimi, Que., a borough of Saguenay located 200 kilometres north of Quebec City.

A Quebec woman charged with murdering her three children testified in her own defence Tuesday, describing the days leading up to the deaths of her children and husband, whose bodies were found in their Saguenay, Que., home early Jan. 2.

Cathie Gauthier, 35, is the lone survivor of what the Crown says was a murder-suicide pact. She has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder.

Gauthier who has pleaded not guilty, took the witness box in a Saguenay court dressed in a brown wool suit and spoke with difficulty, crying frequently.

She told the jury her husband, Marc Laliberté, had changed in the months leading up to his death.

Gauthier described her children — Joëlle,12, Marc-Ange, 7, and four-year-old Louis-Philippe — as intelligent and happy.

Gauthier said she and her husband moved from Amos, Que., to the Chicoutimi borough of Saguenay, about 200 kilometres north of Quebec City, last year. They moved there to be closer to Laliberté's dying mother and because Gauthier had been psychologically and sexually harassed by a neighbour in Amos, Gauthier said.

She said Laliberté could not find work in Saguenay and insisted on living in a house that was too expensive for them because he wanted the best for his family.

But, she said, the financial stress was taking its toll, and he became impatient with their children.

Still, she said, he decided to give them what she called a normal Christmas, with lots of gifts, instead of paying the rent.

Gauthier also testified she spent a few days away from Laliberté, even telling him that she was thinking about separating.

She said he told her she could leave but that she would never have custody of the children. Gauthier said things between them were never the same after that.

Marc Laliberte, 46, was discovered on New Year’s Day in the family home, some 250 kilometres north of Quebec City. Also found dead were his three children. Cathie Gauthier, 34, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder Monday in connection with the deaths of her children.

SAGUENAY, Que. — The Quebec mother charged with the first-degree murder of her children told her trial Tuesday that her husband changed dramatically in the weeks leading to the tragic events.

Cathie Gauthier, 35, is facing three charges of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of her children: Joelle, 12; Marc-Ange, 7; and Louis-Philippe, 4.

The Crown alleges Gauthier and her husband Marc Laliberte had a murder-suicide pact that unfolded in Chicoutimi on New Years' Eve. Laliberte, 46, was found dead on the bedroom floor with a knife next to him while the children were discovered lifeless in their parents' bed.

Gauthier took the stand Tuesday in her defence and told the jury Laliberte was the "perfect husband" until mid-November 2008. "He became impatient and got angry with almost anything," she said. "He even started to rough up the kids."

She said she threatened to leave Laliberte but changed her mind when, according to her, he said she would never see her children again if she left him.

Gauthier cried several times while talking about her children but kept her composure.

She said she was hoping the situation with her husband and the couple's financial problems would be resolved. "I wanted to get my husband back," she said.

Gauthier told the jury the couple was spending more money than they earned and filed for bankruptcy in October. At that time, both parents were out of work.
