Economic World
War Has Begun, Warns Russia

In a very disturbing report to Prime Minister Putin and
President Medvedev today from the Ministry of Finance of the Russian
Federation, the greatest fears for our World’s economic system have
been realized as the Ministry is warning that a ‘ full fledged’
Economic World War is now underway with the main ‘ target’ being
the United States Federal Reserve System, and whose Chairman, Ben Bernanke, admitted to the
Chicago Tribune News Service yesterday that they have “ Lost
Control” of the American economy. So catastrophic have these attacks upon the US Federal
Reserve been, that
for the second day in a row Russian
markets collapsed despite an injection of over $20 billion to stem
the flow of outbound capital headed toward the Western banking system, and the United States main stock market was crushed by a
further 450 point loss as the Associated Press News
Service reports that the Americans are ‘ scared to
death’ as their entire economic system nears total collapse. So catastrophic has the collapse of the Western Banking
system been
that Israel’s Haaretz News Service is reporting that
losses have now exceeded $1 Trillion and is the ‘ worst
financial crises’ since the beginning of the Great Depression
in 1929. Britain ’s Telegraph News Service is further reporting that
the combined injection
of nearly $500 billion by the US Federal Reserve, Bank of England
and the European Central Bank into the Western Banking system over the
past two days has done nothing to stem the financial blood spilling
on the floors of markets throughout the World.
Not just to the American system either has this crisis
struck as the United Kingdoms Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) is said near
collapse with Prime Minister Brown now urging for its sale before
its total collapse. China is reported to be, also, growing increasingly
concerned
over the West’s financial crisis, and as we can read as reported by the
Reuters News Service:
The greatest insight into the causes of this Economic World
War,
these reports state, lies in the powerful consortium of European Banks
ruled by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth and the Netherlands House of Orange,
ruled by Queen
Beatrix, and who control the largest bank in the World,
Switzerland’s UBS , and its allies, the United
Kingdoms HSBC and the Netherlands ING Group, both of which
are, also, among the top ten banks on our planet. The United States Federal Reserve, these reports continue,
became
alarmed this past year with the unprecedented ascendancy of Democratic
Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, who Russian Intelligence Officers
had previously ascertained was a ‘ deep cover’ agent of British
Intelligence during his detention
in the Siberian city of Perm in 2005 while he was accompanying US Senator Richard Lugar on a
nuclear
disarmament tour of Russia, and sought to uncover his US and European
financial backers through the use of what are called ‘offshore
accounts’,
and as we can read as reported by the Wall Street News

Not being understood by the American people is that US
Federal Reserve is a private
bank established by the US Congress in 1913

the murder of most of America’s top bankers and industrial leaders in
the deliberate 1912 sinking of the Titanic,
and who opposed the establishment of a Central Bank in the United
States.
Further to be noted is that the direct financing of both
World
War’s I and II were accomplished through the machinations of the German
Jewish Warburg family,
and who through Felix Warburg, Chairman of the US Federal Reserve Bank,
and Max Warburg, one of the founders of Nazi German industrial giant IG
Farben and head of the Deutsche Bank,
nearly destroyed the power of the European Royal Houses, including
Russia’s,
and began the hegemony of the United States.
To the greatest fears, however, of the outbreak of Economic
World
War, between the European Royal Houses and the United States, along
with its Israeli ally,
lies in the American’s response with their military
power,
and which is the only power they have remaining in
order to prevent the total collapse of their economy.
Russian Military Analysts have repeatedly warned that
this is the only course of action left for the
Americans to preserve their Nation,
but which with the election of Obama to the Presidency
of the United States
would accomplish a coup of the US government by the European
Royal Houses and the dismembering of that once great country.
What remains to be known is the response to these actions
against
them by the present Fascist backed regime of the Bush-Clinton cabal
who have, essentially, run the American Empire
since the attempted assassination of President Ronald
Regan in 1981,
in what Russian Intelligence Analysts have stated was
a
successful coup staged by their former CIA Director, and then Vice
President George Bush,
and who was the father of the current US President.
If the World Wars of last century which, also, pitted these
American and European powers against each other, are any indication,
one can surely state that the bombs will start falling
much sooner than later
as the battle for our Earth enters this final and most
catastrophic of stages.

as the rest of the US delegation, who are on a weeklong nuclear
disarmament tour among former Soviet states, spent several hours at a
weapons destruction site outside Perm before returning to the city
airport, officials from the US Embassy in Moscow told Bellona Web

The delegation was in Russia as part of a week-long tour of
major
weapons facilities in former Soviet republics, where U.S. funds are
being used to secure or destroy nuclear, chemical and biological
weapons.

At Rally For
The Republic
'During an
impassioned speech in which he called for a revolution to take back the
country, former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura
voiced 9/11 truth to the 10,000 in attendance and the millions watching
on C-Span and You Tube at the Rally For The Republic yesterday.'

didn’t write it into the Constitution so people could hunt, but that
the right to bear arms was about the right of the people to overthrow a

speech by saying, “We can take our country back, it can be done, but
it’s not gonna happen with talk - it’s gonna happen with action. I
wrote the book Don’t Start The Revolution Without Me - well I’m
here….let’s get the revolution going!” he concluded to rapturous
applause, adding that if the country showed him it was possible, he
would consider running in 2012, vowing, “we’ll give them a race they’ll
never forget!”

A message to the
membership of the Green Party of England and Wales
by
former Green Party Agent, Justin Walker

'In the USA, the Green Party’s presidential candidate, the courageous
former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, is asking for the truth about
what really happened on 9/11. She
knows there are huge problems with the official narrative of what
happened on that fateful day and that the whole ‘War on Terror’, which
has claimed hundreds of thousands of innocent lives and which is so
voraciously eating into our civil liberties and basic freedoms, is now
being increasingly called into question by ordinary decent people.
The
US Greens are unashamedly a major player in this burgeoning American
Truth Movement. The same cannot be said for the Green Party of England
and Wales where the ‘leadership’ and ‘establishment’ of the party under
Caroline Lucas and Jean Lambert has deliberately chosen to ignore this
huge and ‘embarrassing’ issue in the vain hope that it would go away.
Well it hasn’t and now the British Greens are left looking rather silly
and out of touch with what is REALLY going on.' .....
It
really does hurt me to say this, but the Greens in Britain today are
largely an irrelevance as ordinary decent people on the internet and at
the grass roots wake up and connect the dots that prove beyond all
reasonable doubt that we are heading for an Orwellian 'Big Brother'
police state nightmare which is being assembled slowly but surely by a
tiny secretive global elite to ensnare all of us.
This
was what David Icke was saying at the recent Haltemprice and Howden
by-election – an election that we can prove was a sham and a scam (go
to www.wholetruthcoalition.org for the
evidence).
And
before you simply dismiss David Icke (a man who the Green Party’s
‘establishment’ likes to demonise), please consider for a moment that
to do so you have to first dismiss the latest scientific evidence
concerning cutting edge Quantum Physics along with the collective
knowledge and wisdom of the indigenous peoples around the world who
have oral traditions going back thousands of years. I also happen to
know, having met Cynthia McKinney myself, that she is open minded
enough to want to meet with David at some point in the future to
discuss his research. Closed minds, my friends, do not get to
the truth!
I’m
afraid the Green Party has stopped listening and learning and it has
certainly stopped questioning. How many of you reading this know that
there was a major hurricane, Hurricane Erin, off New York on the
morning of 9/11? What do you know about Tesla and the Hutchison Effect?
Have you heard of HAARP and, if so, what is it for? Do you know that
other planets in our solar system, including Mars and Jupiter, are
displaying temperature increases and climate change at the same time
the Earth is? And are you absolutely certain that you can trust Al
Gore? What do you really know about him and the Clinton administration
that he was involved in? What do you know about the Amero and the North
American Union? What do you know about the UK training charity Common
Purpose? And how much do you know about the Bilderberg Group, the
Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations? Have you
heard of Dr Royal Raymond Rife? And what really goes on in the Bohemian
Grove? And who really funded and supported Adolf Hitler and the Nazis?

Thank you
for taking
the trouble to read this – time is most certainly not on our side
so
please take this warning seriously. The signs are extremely
ominous
that another 9/11 style 'false flag' operation leading to a major war
against Iran (and possibly others) is on the cards before the end of

Summary:
Gold continued its steady rise from the recent lows below $800 an
ounce. The dollar also resumed its rise against the euro.
The recent rise of the dollar has been
attributed
to evidence that the rest of the world is entering a recession and that
the downturn will not be limited to the United States. It has also been
fueled by an export-based mini-recovery in the United States. A recent
revision of U.S. GDP (Gross Domestic Product) number showing a 3.5%
annualized growth rate in the second quarter of 2008 shows the results
of both the growth in exports from the United States and the effects of
the tax rebate checks being spent in the economy.
Both, however, cannot last, as the
checks have
already been spent and the dollar is now rising (it was the low dollar
that fueled exports). So, while a little good news is always welcome,
we're not out of danger, by any means. The drop in the price of gold
this summer has made all currencies seem stronger, but what is really
behind it all?

failure of the system. Not everyone shares that view. For some, things

One of the most exclusive
clubs in the U.S. has picked up more members.
About 47,000 people had a net
worth of $20
million or more in 2004, the latest available year, according to new
estimates by the Internal Revenue Service. While that was up only
slightly from 46,000 in 2001, it was up 62% from 29,000 in 1998.
The IRS also reported
increases in the
number of people with a net worth between $10 million and $20 million:
79,000 people qualified for this group in 2004, up from 77,000 in 2001
and 51,000 in 1998.(...)
...MW: The housing market is
freefalling,
setting new records every day for foreclosures, inventory, and
declining prices. The banking system is in even worse shape;
undercapitalized and buried under a mountain of downgraded assets.
There seems to be growing consensus that these problems are not just
part of a normal economic downturn, but the direct result of the Fed's
monetary policies. Are we seeing the collapse of the Central banking
model as a way of regulating the markets? Do you think the present
crisis will strengthen the existing system or make it easier for the
American people to assert greater control over monetary policy?
Michael Hudson: What
do you mean
"failure"? Your perspective is from the bottom looking up. But the
financial model has been a great success from the vantage point of the
top of the economic pyramid looking down? The economy has polarized to
the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation's wealth.
Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent
on the wealthy. From their point of view, their power has exceeded that
of any time in which economic statistics have been kept.
(...) They're
not trying to
make the economy more equal, and they're not trying to share power.
Their greed is (as Aristotle noted) infinite. So what
you find to be a violation of traditional values is a re-assertion of
pre-industrial, feudal values. The economy is being set back on the
road to debt peonage. The Road to Serfdom is not government sponsorship
of economic progress and rising living standards; it's the dismantling
of government, the dissolution of regulatory agencies, to create a new
feudal-type elite.
The former Soviet Union
provides a model of
what the neoliberals would like to create. Not only in Russia but also
in the Baltic States and other former Soviet republics, they created
local kleptocracies, Pinochet-style.
In Russia, the
kleptocrats founded an explicitly Pinochetista party, the Party of
Right Forces ("Right" as in right-wing).
In order for the American people or any
other
people to assert greater control over monetary policy, they need to
have a doctrine of just what a good monetary policy would be. Early in
the 19th century the
followers of St. Simon in France
began to develop such a policy. By the end of that century, Central
Europe implemented this policy, mobilizing the banking and financial
system to promote industrialization, in consultation with the
government (and catalyzed by military and naval spending, to be sure). But
all this has disappeared from the history of economic thought, which no
longer is even taught to economics students.
The Chicago Boys have succeeded
in
censoring any alternative to their free-market rationalization of asset
stripping and economic polarization.
My own model would be to make central
banks part of
the Treasury, not simply the board of directors of the rapacious
commercial banking system. You mentioned Henry Liu's writings earlier,
and I think he has come to the same conclusion in his Asia Times
articles.
MW:Do you see the Federal Reserve
as an
economic organization designed primarily to maintain order in the
markets via interest rates and regulation or a political institution
whose objectives are to impose an American-dominated model of
capitalism on the rest of the world?
Michael Hudson: Surely, you
jest! The
Fed has turned "maintaining order" into a euphemism for consolidating
power by the financial sector and the FIRE sector generally (Finance,
Insurance and Real Estate) over the "real" economy of production and
consumption.
Its leaders see their job
as being to act
on behalf of the commercial banking system to enable it to make money
off the rest of the economy. It acts as the Board of Directors to fight
regulation, to support Wall Street, to block any revival of anti-usury
laws, to promote "free markets" almost indistinguishable from outright
financial fraud, to decriminalize bad behavior - and most of all to
inflate the price of property relative to the wages of labor and even
relative to the profits of industry.
The Fed's job is not really to impose
the
Washington Consensus on the rest of the world. That's the job of the
World Bank and IMF, coordinated via the Treasury (viz. Robert Rubin
under Clinton most notoriously) and AID, along with the covert actions
of the CIA and the National Endowment for Democracy.
You don't need monetary policy to do
this - only
massive bribery. Only call it "lobbying" and the promotion of
democratic values - values to fight government power to regulate or
control finance across the world. Financial power is inherently
cosmopolitan and, as such, antagonistic to the power of national
governments.
The Fed and other government agencies,
Wall Street
and the rest of the economy form part of an overall system. Each agency
must be viewed in the context of this system and its dynamics - and
these dynamics are polarizing, above all from financial causes.
So we are back to the "magic of
compound interest," now expanded to include "free" credit creation and
arbitraging.
The problem is that none of this
appears in the
academic curriculum. And the silence of the major media to address it
or even to acknowledge it means that it is invisible except to the
beneficiaries who are running the system.

And that is precisely the goal of the
repeated
attempts by the UCU to institute an academic boycott (of some nature)
against Israeli institutions - to make a public statement condemning
the Israeli government for its human rights abuses. Yet somehow, the
debate is always twisted and turned around to allegations of
"anti-semitism" - that if you support the boycott you are somehow
motivated by a 'hatred of Jews because they are Jews'. The contention
is clearly ridiculous. Those supporting the boycott and the vast
majority of those that condemn the situation in Palestine and Israel
are well aware that the Israeli government and the Jews of Israel and
elsewhere are far from synonymous. Events leading up the Iraqi
invasion, when Tony Blair ignored the mass public demonstrations and
not only joined the US-led invasion but fabricated evidence to justify
it gave the British public a stark reminder of just how impotent they
are to influence government policy on the most important matters.
In Israel the situation is no
different. A majority of Israeli citizens want peace
(who wouldn't?) but their government continues its aggressive policies
towards Israel's Arab neighbors, placing the lives of Israelis at risk,
and public opinion be damned. How then can the anti-boycott camp in the
UK and elsewhere reasonably insist that exerting academic, political or
economic pressure on the Israeli government is tantamount to hatred of
Jews? Clearly the boycott seeks to achieve the very same thing that a
majority of ordinary Jews (at least in Israel) want - an end to the
violence and peaceful cohabitation. The answer of course is that they
cannot 'reasonably' make such a claim, and there is nothing reasonable
about the tactics they use to silence the boycott campaign.

What these crazy "pro-Israeli gov"

is actually the most reprehensible form of anti-Semitism since it acts
against the rank and file of normal Jewish people.
As is the case about everywhere, it is

Pakistani soldiers arrested four people on April 5 2008, in the Dera
Bugti district of Balochistan, and subjected them to torture. They were
asked to identify local supporters of the Balochistan Liberation Army
(BLA). After failing to get any names from them, the victims
were immersed in scolding hot coal tar. Three of the men were literally
boiled and burned to death. A fourth died later from his injuries.
Villagers in the area also claim the
Pakistan army
used a form of chemical gas against them and that some of the gassed
survivors were later shot. Their bodies have not been handed over to

During July and August [2008],
over 100 Baloch persons were killed, 250 disappeared and more than
20,000 were displaced.
They are victims of intensified military operations by the Pakistan
army, which has occupied Balochistan since invading in 1948 and
forcibly incorporating it into Pakistan.
Cobra attack
helicopters that
were provided by the US to help defeat the Taliban and al-Qaida are
instead being used to crush the Baloch people.

Manila - The top rights official in the
Philippines
on Wednesday raised alarm over the rising human cost of an army
offensive against Muslim rebels in the south, saying civilian deaths

range a handcuffed and blindfolded Palestinian detainee has a large
hole at its centre with cracks running in every direction.
"Since my video was shown, the soldiers
shoot at
our house all the time," she said. The shattered and cracked windows at
the front of the building confirm her story. "When we leave the windows
open, they fire tear gas inside too."
Her home looks out over the Israeli
road block
guarding the only entrance to the village of Nilin, located just inside
the West Bank midway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. It was

Abu Rahma, 27, was shot in the foot in July with a rubber bullet

Omri Burberg, the battalion commander suspected of giving an utterly
illegal order to shoot a bound Palestinian, is wandering free and being
considered for a senior training post in the Israel Defense Forces.
Meanwhile, Jamal
Amira,
the father of Salam, the amateur camera operator who filmed the
shooting, spent 26 days in an Israeli jail, until a military judge was
so kind as to release him on bail last week.(...)
Over the weekend, the villagers of
Na'alin once
again rushed one of their friends to the Ramallah hospital: Hitham
Alian, 21, was shot in the head on the way to visit his grandfather.
The image of his bleeding head adorns almost every mobile phone in
Na'alin.
"This is a closed military zone," barked the Border
Police thugs who welcomed us at the checkpoint closing off Na'alin,
barring our entrance to the village. A few minutes later, the officers
disappeared and the closed military zone suddenly turned into an open
civilian zone, if just for a moment. A scratchy loudspeaker called the
children of the village to a back-to-school party, and the gravel road
to the ancient olive grove - the one Israel plans to expropriate and
uproot - was carpeted with stones, a reminder of the daily struggle
here. Israel is building the fence to the east of the Green Line, with
the sole purpose of expanding the borders of Kiryat Sefer and
Hashmonaim, the two large settlements already constructed on land
stolen from Bil'in and Na'alin. .....
"At first we couldn't believe it,"
recalls
Mohammed, who was standing next to Salam as she filmed. "We were sure
the officer would put Ashram into the jeep. In the evening, when we saw
the video, we were happy. We were happy to have released such a thing
into the world. We wanted to show the world, and especially the Israeli
Defense Ministry, what IDF soldiers are doing to us. Come see the
actions of the battalion commander, a lieutenant colonel with two
'falalels' [oak-leaf clusters], the commander of Na'alin. First he
imposed a total curfew on us, a closure on 5,000 people to guard a
couple of tractors, and now this shooting."

afraid, at first,
to publicize the video. "We were scared the army would do something to
us. The B'Tselem people promised us that nothing bad would happen to
us. But our fears came true. There was revenge. After two days, my
father was arrested. After three days, I was shot in the leg with a
rubber bullet while leaving my house. We don't have one unbroken window
in our house. Sometimes the soldiers ask me, 'Have you filmed us
today?' That's how it's been every day since then." ......
Jamal began arguing with the Border
Police
officers, one of whom told Jamal the land was not his. Jamal, furious,
began devouring clods of earth. His son Ghaleb watched from a distance
as officers attacked and kicked his father. The family has a video to
prove it. Jamal was put into the jeep. He was handcuffed and
blindfolded. He heard the officers say to each other, "We caught
Salam's father, the camerawoman's father."
He was driven to
Hashmonaim, where he says he was left sitting on the ground for about
three hours. He asked for water and was refused. After several hours,
officers poured water on his face. "Omri is my friend," Jamal says one
of the officers told him. They eventually brought him to a Border
Police base next to Maccabim and left him handcuffed in the jeep for
another three or four hours, still with no water. He says many Border
Police officers came to see "Salam's father." When he asked for water
again, he says one of them responded, "Eat your camera." "I'll screw
you" is another sentence from an officer that Jamal hesitates to quote.
After
sunset Jamal was brought to Beit El for questioning. He was charged
with assaulting Border Police officers. Eventually he was taken to Ofer
Prison. That first night he suffered from pains in his ribs that he
attributes to the blows he received during the demonstration. The
following morning he was seen by a doctor.
After eight days in jail Jamal was brought to court.
He is effusive in his praise for Gaby
Lasky, the
human rights lawyer brought to defend him, but she was unable to secure
his release at the first military court hearing. His remand was
extended until the end of proceedings, and Jamal remained in jail for
over two weeks before his appeal was heard. ..... After his
release
from jail, after a series of delays and humiliations, half the village
was waiting for him at the checkpoint.
Jamal's trial will take place
soon. He is charged with disrupting the peace, assaulting a soldier and
entering a closed military zone - his private property. Military court
judge Lt. Colonel Yoram Haniel wrote, "It is doubtful that the evidence
in the case will lead to a conviction."

To begin with, I would like to point
out that I am
writing this article at the risk of being arrested for "incitement" and
"tarnishing" the Palestinian Authority (PA) image.
However, the cause of press freedom in
Occupied Palestine is too important to be compromised by fears for
one's safety.
Hence, journalists and free-minded
citizens must
not allow themselves to be intimidated by a police-state apparatus that
views itself as God's vicegerent on earth.
In recent weeks and months, the
American-backed and
Israeli-favored regime in Ramallah has been systematically violating
the human rights and civil liberties of the Palestinian people in ways
unseen since the start of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and
Gaza Strip in 1967.
