The Neocons Do Georgia

American media, aka, the Ministry of Lies and Deceit, again
accommodated the criminal Bush Regime and proclaimed "Russian invasion"
to cover up the ethnic cleansing of Russians in South Ossetia by the
Georgian military assault. Only this time, the rest of the world didn't
buy it.
The
many years of lies--9/11, Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, al Qaeda
connections, yellowcake, anthrax attack, Iranian nukes, "the United
States doesn't torture," the bombings of weddings, funerals, and
children's soccer games, Abu Ghraib, renditions, Guantanamo, various
fabricated "terrorist plots," the determined assault on civil
liberties--have taken their toll on American credibility.
No
one outside America any longer believes the US media or the US
government. The rest of the world reported the facts--an assault on
Russian civilians by American and Israeli trained and equipped Georgian
troops.'

Obama's childhood records vindicate Corsi book 'An AP photo that recently surfaced showing Barack Obama registered for school as an Indonesian citizen of the Muslim religion provides tangible evidence for some of the claims made by author Jerome Corsi in his best-selling book, The Obama Nation. "The Associated Press document provides additional evidence suggesting the Obama campaign's insistence that Obama was never trained in Islam and he never lived as a Muslim is not accurate," author and WND staff reporter Jerome R. Corsi said. "Moreover, the document indicated that Obama may have been an Indonesian citizen when he lived there," Corsi continued. "This is an issue the Obama rebuttal fails to address at all, evidently conceding the accuracy of the claim."' (...) "The Obama campaign desperately wants

Indonesia from age 6 to 10," Corsi said. "These are formative years in

That question has been circulating on
the
blogosphere with increased fury the past few days, since a photograph
emerged of Obama's school registration papers as a child in Indonesia –
the world's most populous Muslim nation – showing the presidential
candidate listed as a "Muslim" with "Indonesian" citizenship.
An investigation into Indonesian
citizenship law and a review of Obama's biography and travels
suggest the Illinois senator at one point may have been a citizen of
Indonesia. That would not necessarily disqualify Obama to run for
president, but it could raise loyalty concerns.(...)
In the picture, Obama is registered
under the name
Barry Soetoro by his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro. The school card lists
Barry Soetoro as a Indonesian citizen born Aug. 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii. His religion is listed as Muslim.(...)
Obama's American mother, Ann Dunham,
separated from
her first husband, Barack Obama Sr., in 1963 when the presidential
candidate was two years old. Dunham and Obama Sr. are reported to have
later divorced. Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian, and moved
to Indonesia sometime between 1966 and 1967.
It was not clear whether Soetoro
adopted Obama,
either in Hawaii or in Indonesia, but there is strong circumstantial
evidence that he did as far as Indonesian law was concerned.
In Indonesia, which was under tight
rule in 1967,
Obama clearly took on the last name of his stepfather in school
registration documents. All Indonesian students were required to carry
government identity cards, or Karty Tanda Pendudaks, which needed to
bear the student's legal name, which should be matched in public school
registration filings.
Following his enrollment at the private
Assisi
school, Obama attended public schooling in Indonesia until he returned
to Hawaii at age 10. According to Indonesian legal experts, it was
difficult to enroll non-Indonesian citizens in public schooling.
Obama arrived in Indonesia at about the
age of five
according to most accounts, although it was possible he arrived at the
age of six, according to a few sources. If Lolo Soetoro adopted Obama
at age five or younger, then Obama would automatically have become an
Indonesian citizen according to the country's laws in the 1960's, which
stipulated any child aged five or younger adopted by an Indonesian
father is immediately granted Indonesian citizenship upon completion of
the adoption process.
Lolo Soetoro could have adopted Obama
in Hawaii,
although such an adoption would not have necessarily been recognized by
Indonesia.
Indonesian law at the time also did not
recognize
dual citizenship, meaning if Obama became Indonesian, then as far as
that country was concerned, his U.S. citizenship was no longer
recognized by Indonesia. But U.S. law would still recognize Obama as an
American citizen.(...)
Obama was in Pakistan for about three
weeks, said
the campaign, staying with his friend's family in Karachi and also
visiting Hyderabad in Southern India.
Pakistan in 1981 was under military
rule. It was difficult for U.S. citizens to travel to the country
without assistance. It would have been easier for someone to enter
Pakistan on an Indonesian passport.
If Obama indeed possessed Indonesian
citizenship as
a child, it is unlikely he retains such citizenship. The country's
bylaws require any Indonesian citizen living abroad for more than five
years to formally declare his intention to return, otherwise risk
losing his citizenship status. The law does not necessarily mean
Indonesian citizenship would be immediately lost. The law can be
overruled by ministerial order.
Obama's registration in Indonesia under
the name
"Barry Soetoro" also raises questions as to whether he adopted that
name in the U.S. at any time. According to Illinois state filings, when Obama
registered as an attorney in 1991, under the name Barack Obama, he
stated he did not have any former names.

in Kent, UK arrested some climate protestors and confiscated their
"criminal" equipment, including a satirical boardgame about the war on
terror. The police claim that the ski mask that came with the game
could be used in a criminal act.' (...)
War on Terror, similar to games like
Risk, revolves around creating empires that compete and wage war.
But there is a twist - players can poke
fun at the rhetoric of world leaders like George Bush and Tony Blair...

board, which determines which player is designated a terrorist state.
That person then has to wear a
balaclava (included in the box set) with the word "Evil" stitched on to

Georgia 'will join NATO', says Germany's

Lawmakers take up battle against light bulb ban

Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., and 24 other representatives on Capitol
Hill have asked the government to reconsider mandating that all
Americans use exclusively compact fluorescent
bulbs, or CFLs,
in light of growing concerns over the safety and environmental impact
of the bulbs. As WND reported, the Energy Independence and Security Act
of 2007 was signed into law in December, phasing out the use of
traditional, incandescent light bulbs in favor of CFLs beginning in
2012 and culminating in a ban on incandescent bulbs in 2014.'

Dual Citizenship -- Loyal to
Whom?

Someone wrote and
asked me, "Why are there Israeli- but not Mexican-American Dual
Nationals?" (...)
Before Viewzone asked me
to research
the meaning of "dual citizenship," I had never heard of the term. How
could someone be a citizen of two countries at the same time? But I was
just ignorant. Dual nationalities and citizenships are quite common.
From my internet
research, I learned
that in 1997, a French Canadian with a U.S. passport ran for mayor of
Plattsburgh, N.Y. He argued that the incumbent spoke French too poorly
to be running a city so close to Quebec. He lost.
Also in 1997, a retired
top American
official for the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) ran for
president of Lithuania. He was inaugurated in February to a burst of
fireworks!(...)
Since citizenship
carries with it a
responsibility to be exclusively loyal to one country, the whole
concept of dual citizenship and nationality raises questions about
which of the dual citizenships have priority. This is extremely
important when the two countries have opposing interests. It can be a
deadly problem when a dual citizen is in a high position within our
American government. ...While the Iraq War was waged on lies about
Weapons of Mass Destruction and revenge for 911, the real reason
has emerged as a well designed global plan to improve the power and
leverage of Israel. Added to this policy is yet another potential blow
to American interests and security -- the impending War with Iran. This
war will be waged for the security of Israel and will be paid for by
the blood of American soldiers and the hard-earned money of American
citizens whose quality of life is inversely tied to the cost of
petrolium.
'Recently,
in their much lauded paper, The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy,
Harvard professor, Stephen Walt, and University of Chicago professor,
John Mearsheimer, focused attention on the strong Israeli lobby which
has a powerful influence over American foreign policies (see BBC
article). They detail the influence that this lobby has exerted,
forming a series of international policies which can be viewed as in
direct opposition to the interests and security of the American people.
These acts and policies are more often than not carried out by US government appointees who hold powerful positions and who are dual American-Israeli citizens. Since the policies they support are often exclusively beneficial to Israel, often to the detriment of America, it has been argued that their loyalties are misdirected.' //// The examples of
Kahane, Mahonm,
Goodman and Weinmann raise the question of when a U.S. citizen ceases
to be, or should cease to be, a U.S. citizen. U.S. Law at one time
clearly stated that an American citizen owed first allegiance to the
United States. A U.S. citizen should not fight in a foreign army or
hold high office in a foreign country without risking expatriation.
What the heck happened?(...)
Section 401 (e) of the 1940 Nationality
Act
provides that a U.S. citizen, whether by birth or naturalization,
"shall lose his [U.S.] nationality by...voting in a political election
in a foreign state."...........But then something very odd happened.
In 1967 an American Jew, Beys
Afroyim
received an exemption that set a precedent exclusively for American
Jews. Afroyim, born in Poland in 1895, emigrated to America in 1912,
and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1926. In 1950, aged 55, he
emigrated to Israel and became an Israeli citizen. In 1951 Afroyim
voted in an Israeli Knesset election and in five political elections
that followed. So, by all standards he lost his American citizenship --
right? Wrong.
After living in Israel for a decade,
Afroyim wished
to return to New York. In 1960, he asked the U.S. Consulate in Haifa
for an American passport. The Department of State refused the
application, invoking section 401 (e) of the Nationality Act -- the
same ruling that had stripped the American citizen named Perez of his
U.S. citizenship.
Attorneys acting for Afroyim took his
case to a
Washington, DC District Court, which upheld the law. Then his attorneys
appealed to the Court of Appeals. This court also upheld the law. The
attorneys for Afroyim then moved the case on to the Supreme Court.
Here, with Supreme Court Justice Abe Fortas, Lyndon Johnson's former
attorney and one of the most powerful Jewish Americans, casting the
swing vote, the court voted five to four in favor of Afroyim. The court
held that the U.S. government had no right to "rob" Afroyim of his
American citizenship! (...) While Washington claims it has a "good
neighbor" policy with Mexico, the U.S. does not permit Mexicans to hold
dual nationality. The US makes them become either U.S. or Mexican --
you can't be both. But the U.S., in its special relationship with
Israel, has become very sympathetic to allowing Israeli-Americans to
retain two nationalities and allowing U.S. citizens not only to hold
public office in Israel, but to hold US government positions as well!
No other country holds this special exception to our laws of
citizenship.(...) If you think we're being unfair here, ask yourself: How
you would react to the Head of Homeland Security if he or she were a
dual national with citizenship in Iran, Lebanon or Saudi Arabia?
Ask yourself why you don't feel the same about Israeli dual
citizenship. Then you will understand how powerful the Israeli lobby
has been in "adjusting" your acceptance of their special status.(...)

I am a survivor of the deliberate
attack on the USS
Liberty, June 8, 1967 during the Six Day War. I think dual citizenship
has a lot to do with the reason that the surviving crew cannot get the
U.S. Government to look at our "War Crimes Report". This is an act by
the Israeli Defense Force that has never been investigated by Congress.

Israel wants defenseless Palestine
'An
Israeli security plan presented to the United States demands that any
future Palestinian state not have defense forces or weapons. The plan,
which was published by the Israeli Maariv Daily on Sunday, laid out
what the paper called the security arrangements that Israel plans to
implement after reaching a peace deal with the Palestinians. According
to the plan, Israel would set up alarm stations on the West Bank hills,
deploy forces to the Jordanian border and exercise full control over
Palestinian airspace.' (...)
"If
the plan is accepted by the Palestinians, it will kill the Palestinian
dream to establish an independent state," Hamas spokesman Ismail Radwan
said in a Sunday statement.
He added that the democratically-elected Palestinian government of Hamas strongly warned all groups against accepting such a "disastrous plan", which would "completely" serve the interests of Israel. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) also slammed the published Israeli security plan. "This plan is impossible and there is no way that we can accept it," said senior PFLP leader, Rabah Muhana. ===================================================
